Physicians in the 11th Century Noah Gordon decided to portray life in the 11th century through the eyes of a physician. She wrote about it in The Physician because doctors see many different parts of the world from many different points of view. They see the life of many different kinds of people, whether they’re townspeople on the streets working, or ill in their home, doctors have a bigger perspective of life that what other occupations would allow the reader to see. Noah Gordon showed this because the reader would see a more diverse life in the 11th century. Physicians observe different areas all across the world.
