In my opinion the best part of Eating, Sleeping, And Getting Up was how it related to everyday battles in the home. The author really gets to the root cause of these battles. We need to change our reactions and responses to our children and their behavior. Subsequently they will take on more of the responsibility that is theirs to begin with; and our homes will become much happier places. In the book, Eating, Sleeping, And Getting Up there is an emphasis on the parents revising their behavior to adopt new attitudes and techniques from the beginning.
