Explain how the teaching of discipleship Might affect the life of a Christian today I believe that the teaching of discipleship from Marks gospel affects us greatly as Christians today. Faith love and generosity are three main ideas that I have selected to explain in three paragraphs. I think that these qualities stay with us from a very early age. I will also use the recent Encyclical from Bishop Walsh to highlight how this affects us. Faith is a very important quality, and I think this should and does affect all true disciples lives. Faith is shown in many ways, by regularly attending the sacraments, e.g., Confession and the Eucharist throughout the year, which to me brings us closer to god and therefore improving our faith, we should try to pray to god, and ask him for help, which over time will improve our faith greatly, and I think that going to mass at least once a week raises our confidence and builds up our self belief and of course faith.
