Robbie Williams - A fan expierience

Munich 6.7.03 Hi everybody! I’m still exhausted but I know you all want to know what happened in Munich so here is my report, and I have the feeling that it will be VERY long! :o) Just one note before I start… I have a lot to tell and I’m not sure if I remember everything he said in his own words, also I might be a bit confused about the order how everything happened… so sorry for eventual mistakes! We got to the stadium around 6 pm and tried to get as much to the front as possible, which of course was pretty hard, there was a catwalk coming out from the stage so that it was pretty difficult getting near the stage even on the sides… About half an hour later, Kelly Osbourne came on stage… ok, I admit it, I’m a bit of a Kelly fan :o) I think she is pretty cool and I like her album, but well… she should train her voice a bit because her singing was quite bad, and opening for Robbie sure isn’t an easy job! I think most of the audience was a bit disappointed. Fortunately one hour later it was Skin’s turn. I have seen her before when she was still with Skunk Anansie so I knew it was gonna be amazing, and it was!!! This lady has a wonderful voice and she knows how to treat an audience, her show was energetic and I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who really enjoyed her show! Next came a few videoclips on the big screens, and some ads… they showed Rob’s message against child exploitation twice… unfortunately you could hardly hear what he was saying. Everybody liked the Smart spot though :o) Around 9 pm the screens showed pieces of Robbie Videos and then suddenly the big screen on the middle of the stage went red (with a black drawing of Rob on it) and the music started. The screen sort of opened up like a curtain and behind it the man himself was hanging upside down, all dressed in black with a white tie. They lowered him down and he sung “Let me entertain you”. The audience went mad and nearly everybody was bouncing! Before starting the next song (or was it after?) he said hello and introduced himself in German “Guten Abend meine Damen und Herren. Mein Name ist RRRRRobbie WWWilliams, und ich bin ein Rockstar! Ich liebe Dich!” By the way, I’ve heard this rumour before but I just wanted to check myself... he has got a new tattoo on his wrist (maybe on both), it’s a little heart under the “Jake Farrell” writing (will this tattoo thing never stop??!) Next came “Let love be your energy”. After it Rob started to do a funny dance routine, similar to the ones he did with Take That in the early days and after that he said something like “Justin can’t compete with that!” and then started to song a bit of “Rock your body”.
