I would like to say thank you to everyone for coming out this afternoon to celebrate my parent’s, Dianne and Gord’s, 18th wedding anniversary. When I look back through the years, I can recall all of the times that you both were there for me, and for all these individuals around you today. I remember when I was very little and I was in the hospital. Mom, you stayed with me the whole time, even sleeping over night so that I would not be alone. This is just one of the countless examples of when you were there, when I needed you. I would like to say thank you, for never giving up on me, and for always believing in me.
