Schizophrenia is a physical disease of the brain. It was first name “Dementia Praecox” which means “early dementia”. It is the disabling of the major mental illnesses. A person could suffer one disorder or more than on with different causes. A person may exhibit different kinds of behavior at different times. They are the ones that feel anxious and confused at all times. Schizophrenia actually begins appearing in the late teens and 20’s. Striking mostly in men between the ages of 15 and 24 years old, and women between the ages of 25 to 34 years old. Children that are over the age of 5 years old can also develop schizophrenia. Almost 1% of the population develops the illness. Schizophrenia has different kinds of symptoms. One of them is the positive symptom.
