Review of Minority Report Reviewed Minority Report is a great depiction of what can happen to the world if our current law system “innocent until proven guilty” fails. In Minority Report people were tried for something they didn’t even do which is against all values and standards that we have today. The whole “precrime system” dealt with catching criminals who were going to commit the crime before they did it, so how are they criminals I ask? They aren’t. Everybody has free will and they have a choice to make, even the criminal could have thought to himself at the last second that he didn’t really want to do what he was about to do. That’s mainly with what I disagree in the movie, the concept of predestination, I believe there is no such thing and that everybody has a choice to do what they want. I completely agree with James Beradinelli when he said that Minority Report is a movie all about free will or predestination because he was right.
