Euclid was a Greek mathematician who lived in circa 300 B.C. He taught geometry in Egypt and established a school based on mathematics. He created Elements, a complete interpretation of mathematics in 13 volumes on geometry, proportions and music. In Euclid’s book Data he wrote about geometrical theorems, in Phenomena he talks about applying math to the heavens and in Optics he writes about the science of music.
