The famous evangelist Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. heroically climbed the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in the mid 1900’s and proclaimed “I have a dream..” to the eager and relentless crowd below. He then explained that he had a dream of a world where people lived in harmony with one another despite their differences in race, economic situation, and/or beliefs. The world was highly segregated then and segregationist in fears that others may follow quickly shut down people who spoke of things such as Dr.King. Yet Dr. King and his followers proceeded through the barriers set before them.
