I, as a speaker, need to improve on speaking slower to the audience that I am addressing. If I learn to speak slower I will not stumble over my words and my speech would be easier to listen to and not so hard to comprehend. My speeches would also be more interesting if I stopped using the word um. I feel that I can hold my audience’s attention a lot better if I were to cut this word out of my vocabulary.
