Agree: People are affected by too many variables. Their opinions can be shifted depending on their family, schools, social class, religion, sex, ethnic background, geography, and media. Many socialists have found that people in America are feeble minded and biased especially when it pertains to their own self-interests like taxes. People in America also seem to have a split personality. In a recent poll American's were asked what the role of government should be. American's answered that the federal government should act to meet public needs such as education, medical care, public housing, urban housing, and employment. Yet half of those same Americans believe we should rely more on individualism and not so much on government welfare programs.
