I now have a new found respect for all successful and struggling musicians. I sat down to play the piano piece and figured it would be a piece of cake; little did I know I was in store for a reality check. I started to play the piece and found it extremely difficult to keep my right hand playing on the keyboard; I would forget to keep playing or I would stumble over keys creating an uneven beat. I also found it hard to make the piece sound somewhat appealing to my ears. I knew that it was just an exercise, but I wanted my piece to sound intriguing and praise worthy (obviously this is not always possible when playing something like this piece).
