The idea of the “American Dream” and the freedoms of American life are unique, and possible, because the laws and system of government are based on and structured around natural law. Natural law, also referred to as nature’s law, is the laws and will of man’s Creator. According to Sir William Blackstone, “Man…must necessarily be subject to the laws of his Creator…This will of his Maker is called the law of nature…This law of nature…is of course superior to any other…No human laws are of any validity, if contrary to this: and such of them as are valid derive all their force…from this original”. When the Constitution was formed, it was formed around the laws of the Almighty God. The Founding fathers of our nation established it under God and created laws that supported His laws and regulations.
