5816 150th St SE Everett, Wa 98208 September 13, 2003 Nick Nicoletta Jackson High School 1508 136th St SE Mill Creek, Wa 98012 Dear Mr. Nicoletta: It arrived in the mail last week. As I look at the application envelope from the University of Arizona, I paused to reflect on how far I have come from Ms. Wilson’s PM Kindergarten class. From eating glue to learning how to add, to writing essays, I have come along way since I first started school. Thirteen years in the Everett School District has brought me to the place where I can finally begin to plan for what my life after Jackson High School will be like. Over the years I have learned very important skills that will help me in my post high school education. Now that my grade school years are coming to an end I really needed to start mapping out my future plans for after High School. Ever since I can remember I have always wanted to go to the University of Arizona when I finished school. We visited the Campus a few years ago and I knew it was for me. My plans are to move down there right after graduation. Based on the classes I have taken and interests I have gained at Jackson I would like to major in business. My years of taking Marketing at Jackson has really got me interested in this subject, and I would want to pursue a career in this field. Ever since I was in Elementary School I thought for sure I was going to be a professional basketball player.
