“What is the role of the Public Safety Personnel on view of the world situation and homeland security? Do you agree with the addition of a homeland security agency--- national, state, and local? If you agree, state why? If you disagree, state why?” The role of the Public Safety Personnel is to pertain to problems that are relevant to everyday concerns. They include: accidents, local disasters such as fires and flood, and natural threats such as hurricanes or tornadoes. They are there to lend a hand anytime and on any given day when you are in need. Everything they do is for the safety of our friends, family, and neighbors. Risking their lives over and over again for our protection, they are the unnoticed heroes of our society.
