Personal Response to the conclusion of “Lord Of The Flies” The conclusion to the novel was not exactly what I had anticipated would take place as the final decent into evil, as well as the boys rescue. I feel that Golding really shows the extent of human capacity and how ruthless one can be to gain absolute power, as others can be so weak and blinded by a leader’s behaviour. I feel Golding really express a view of how society draws such and thin line between civilization and chaos for he acuratlity portrays human behaviour and human instinct.
