Born in New York, Nasir Jones grow up in Queens bridge projects with he's mother Aaron Jones. Father was a jazz player that stayed on the road all the time. Nas grow up around drugs, poverty and thinking if he can make it better. With he's brother "Jungle" that got that name from being wild and crazy. Nasir dropping out of school in high school but he was real bright, he was just hanging with the wrong crowd.
