That should be every cosmetologists goal, to respect, and treat their client like they are worth every single dollar they are paying for. If a person wants to become a cosmetologist, they need to have a background of cosmetology, they need to know the outlook, and have a great education. Knowing about hair is a big help when a person wants to pursue the job as a cosmetologist. There are many different types of cosmetologists. Some just specialize in one specific field, while others take the adventure of doing them all. The biggest field of cosmetology is hair. "Cutting, coloring, and styling all include hair" (Traci Mclain). In order to have a perfect cut, a stylist needs to be up to date with the latest trends. The second largest part of cosmetology is face and body. The massages, makeup and waxing are becoming more popular each day. Not only is having a background important, knowing the outlook of this career is important too.
