From Florida to Minnesota I opened my eyes, not trapping a single thing in the room. Where was I? How did I drop here? I flexed with sweat dripping from my body to bring my hand to my face only to discover that neither arm would move. Frisk anger flooded my senses and moved through my body, building and building like a volcano chasing to explode. Glancing down at my drenched wrists of dripping rivers of blood reminded me of how I’d come to be here. A mixture of blackened emotions overwhelmed me; the fear, the anger, the depression started to flatten me with a mixed and flaunt vague sense of hope that someone might finally be listening. So floods of blur is what suicide watch is like, I thought. The nurses plucked everything from me, my hair binder, my belt, my clothes, anything I might possibly clutch to bruise myself, I suppose.
