After watching “Orphan Train” I saw how people try to solve the problem with children on the streets. People were trying to help children. I couldn’t see without tears in my eyes those kids on the dirty, overcrowded, and dangerous New York City streets. I think it was very good idea of the Children Aid Society in New York City to initiated the program in an attempt to provide wholesome homes for orphaned children who might otherwise face a life of poverty and crime. I don’t know if it was better to take a child from his/her parent that was suppressed in poverty or send the child to a farm or elsewhere to work and start a new life.
