veggies are vegetables.. you realize that right? and everything in a salad (unless you put meat in it) is a vegetable... veggies = vegetables = salad... some vegetables don't have as high a nutritional value as others.. ie, iceburg lettuce has absolutely no nutritional value as far as vitamins goes.. but it (as most vegetables) has a lot of fiber, and since your body cannot digest it, you crap it straight out... now, "veggies" as you call them, are cooked vegetables.. this can sometimes be good or bad..
