Factors that brought about exploration to the New World
Many factors brought about explorations and discoveries throughout European Countries. For instance, many of the countries did not want to fall behind other countries. They feared that if they fell behind, then other countries would try to conquer them. Another reason many voyages began, is because many mathematicians believed that the earth was round and wanted to prove it. Although they believed this, it was hard to find anyone willing to make this voyage and prove the theory.
