It has been a long time since i began in the non-for-profit industry. Many years ago when i felt the need to contribute to society, i first sought out being on boards and using my many skills as a producer and a mentor to help put events together in order to raise much needed money for worthy causes. Soon, after years of this, though rewarding, it seemed that i was somewhat removed from the job at hand. that was to really help people.
