As I, Gurden Jennings, sit here and write about my life and describe the trials and tribulations that I have lived through. I am laying on my death bed for the last major event I had to endure. It cost me alot of things I was very used to in life. As you read about my life, sit back, relax and enjoy. I was born in Winchesterfield, Connecticut to great parents Bonnie and Jarden Jennings. I grew up on a little farm near the creek until about the age of 8, when my parents decided to relocate towards the southern states. Where it was believed that more freedom came about from being farther from the central government. Since my parents were not very rich people, I did not get to attend much school, however I did get an education of some sort. I was alot more educated than my mother by the time I was 11 since women were not allowed to attend school during her childhood. I lived with my parents until about the age of 23, when I met a lovely girl named Mary, who accepted my hand in marriage. There was much corruption and horrible doings going on in the United States. Even through all the talk of the Indians refusing removal we established life on a farm. We had one daughter named Mary-Ann, who is the pride and joy of our life.
