Piet Mondrian, is probably one of the most profound, influential, and revolutionary artists of the twenty-first century, and one that has demonstrated a great ability to create. He has also had major influence over domestic interior decoration, such as carpets, linoleums, the painting of woodwork and walls, for his modern compositions featuring black lines and blocks of primary colors. He was an artist strictly devoted to his beliefs and commitments. The move Mondrian made away from realistic ideals towards Cubist beliefs placed him among the most highly influential artists of all time. He is known best for his days with the De Stijl (Art Movement/Dutch Magazine created between friendship of Mondrian and Theo Van Doesburg) and his style of Neo-Plasticism.
