The novel “A Solitary Blue” was written by Cynthia Voigt. It was about a boy named Jeff Greene whose mother walked out on him and his father when he was young. Jeff and his father were left on their own. This was a challenge for them both since Jeff did not know his father well because he had spent most of his childhood with his mother.
