Why Did I Come To Liverpool?
This is a question I regularly ponder whilst lying in my student bedroom with my student posters, conventional Ikea rug, the accustomed out-of-date flyers stuck to the walls and already £700 uniting me with the bright new world of debt. Having dug (deeply), I have found the answer. Somewhere freedom is to be found here amongst the beer, hangovers, missed lectures, noisy neighbours, and mad hairdos. Young adults plague the streets in a frustrated yet happy trance that is student life. However I’d be just as happy at home with a cup of tea (it’s always better when someone else makes it – like toast); at least it’d be fresh milk. Student Life - it’s almost expected, needed, longed-for, obligatory, essential and finally, unavoidable. Liverpool in particular stood out to me as I made the (rash?) decision to join the student population.
