I think if you were to ask a elderly person their opinion on divorce they would probably say something like, “ In my day it was unheard of”. In this essay Noel Perrin tells about his divorce, and his theory on what caused it to happen. What Perrin basically says is that some couple don’t last for the simple fact they spend to much time together. The fact that they are seeing too much of that other person is making it that they are getting to comfortable around each other.
