Voting America’s youngest adult generation, Generation X, is the least politically active of any generation. Statistic after statistic tells the story of a generation that turns out to vote less frequently than others. This may be caused because since 18 year old citizens are so new to the whole political process that they aren’t really sure what or who to vote for. Another reason why the rates may be so low could be just because a lot of young adults or 18 year olds either haven’t cared or paid much attention to current events, or maybe even because they haven’t been educated or taught the history of our nation.
