The way we look at history today is greatly influenced by our language, and how our ancestors have chosen to interpret their stories to us. Even though most of us would like to believe that the way we see history today is based on historical facts rather than historical propaganda. Language is defined as a means in which to convey a message, whether through speech, written word or pictures, or through actions. History can only be passed down from generation to generation through language which has many restrictions and limitations. History, if conveyed through language, must conform to the words of that language, and therefore may change.
