In 2-pac’s song “Dear Mama” he thanks his mother for all the good that she has done for him throughout his struggling life. He begins the song talking about his childhood days when he was seventeen and kicked out of the house. Even though his mother had kicked him out of the house for having their differences, he looks passed all of the mistakes and try’s to reconcile for the tough times he had put her through. “Dear Mama” is a poem that was written from a son to a mother, thanking her for all the things that she had done for him in the past. 2-Pac brings his childhood experiences directly into the song, giving examples of the bad times that he had endured as a youngster. Even though she was a drug addict and never was around for him, 2-pac still appreciates everything his mother tried to do to make his life better.
