Did the Flood Occur? Doubtful It has been stated that the flood is a catastrophe well known to man. It has been known from the time it happened until now. It has even been stated that knowledge of the flood has been found in hundreds of languages and cultures. However this is a fallacy that has plagued mankind from the beginning of time. It has been disproved in more than one aspect. This essay will reveal the weakness of the argument that proves the flood occurred. There are many theories’s that supposedly support the flood but keep in mind they are only theories. One of these arguments is the “rapid freeze theory”. This theory supposedly proves the flood occurred, but this argument actually disproves the flood ever occurred. This theory states that the reason there are complete and intact fossils to this day is because the temperature dropped so rapidly it froze the animals before they could decompose. This theory also talks about the water being frozen. How could there be a world wide flood if the water that was there was frozen? If the whole earth was frozen then there should be animals everywhere an archeologist digs, not scattered about.
