Since I can remember I have tuned into programs on the Home and Garden Channel or the Discovery Channel. Every Saturday morning I faithfully watch television programs such as: Trading Spaces, Bob Villa or even Martha Stewart. Programming like this provokes thought within my mind about how I would want my future home to look. The characteristics that would distinguish my home from others are its elaborate yet cozy style, the location and environment surrounding my residence and the intricacies that appeal to me. The style of a home is usually a representation of the people who inhabit its space. For example, if a home appears spacious and dark or small and full of life, the casual observer can generally draw an accurate conclusion of the person or persons who live there. The general structure of my house would be made of brick and would promote a ranch style atmosphere. The outside appearance would consist of red brick with hints of pink all around, while possessing gray shingles and without siding. The door and window frames would be a rustic white color, and the trimmings would be of iron.
