To Uluru¡¯s traditional Aboriginal owners, Anangu, the extended number of tourists means that their sacred sites and the cultural history on Uluru will be trampled easily. Indeed, although the park management had put up a sign to request the visitors not to climb the rock, each day, hundreds of tourists ignore the advice and trample over the traditional owners¡¯ wishes. As a results of the tourists¡¯ disrespect, the Aboriginal owners chose to deliver a new guidelines to restrict the commercial behaviour. They believed laws was the only way to protect their culture.
