Conflict is an essential element in the novel Tangerine. The main character Paul is conflicted in many ways. He doesnŐt get along with his brother. He canŐt get the attention from his father that he craves and he is labeled handicapped even though he doesnŐt feel that he is handicapped. The following examples show conflict in the book Tangerine. The main problem that Paul has with his brother is that Eric is always bullying him.
