Why do we play sports? Recreations, fitness, to be with friends, meet new people? Have professional sports people to far away from this. Do they really deserve the big money to play sports? The feeling is in a lot of circles that it is all business now a day and you would be hard pressed to find a professional sports person who is out there because they love the game, don’t get me wrong there still out there but they seem to be a dying breed. It is most children’s dreams at some stage to play professionally in there chosen sport and if you ask any of them they will do it all for nothing, granted they don’t have the same need for money as an adult who could be married, trying to support a family, but just the love for the game is what drives them, not the pay packet.
