The movie Our Town, by Thornton Wilder, has three main acts that greatly impact the way one’s outlook on life is. The three separate focuses of Our Town—"Daily Life," "Love and Marriage," and "Death"—reflect the course of life from its beginning to its middle to its end. All three acts have greatly impact ones outlook on life equally the same. Act one begins with Dr. Gibbs, walking home from delivering twins, stops to talk with the paperboy, Joe Crowell, Jr. Once the paperboy walks on Dr. Gibbs runs into the milkman and his horse. The people and families in Our Town represent any small town person or family just as Grover’s Corner represents any small town American town.
