Neither human beings nor things can live alone. A country needs people; people need friends; and residents need neighbours. Neighbours are just like friends, who stay near us, who can help us faster then distant friends when we are in trouble. Neighbours with good qualities are angels who help us whenever needed; neighbours with bad qualities are devils who cause trouble. I feel that courtesy, responsibility, consideration, helpfulness, concern and reliability are important qualities that a neighbour should have. Courtesy is good manners and deeds through actions and words. A word or action of courtesy really brightens up one’s day, bringing joy, comfort and peace. There was once I was late for school. When my neighbour, who was in the lift, saw me running for it, he immediately opened the door for me.
