It is estimated that there are approximately one million Christians in Malaysia, which equals about 6 % of the national population. Some members of each ethnic group in the country practice Christianity. Christianity is one of the largest religions worldwide, being made up of 900 million members. The religions name comes from its founder Jesus Christ. Christians follow the examples and teachings of Christ in their lives.
