Parable

The parables of the Bible have had a profound effect on all Christians by teaching the way of God through simple stories. They show that even hard concepts can be easily understood with simple expiations. In the case of the Parable of Sower it shows the ways people accept the word of God. Along with the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant this also reminds Christians to forgive quickly anything we owe to one another because God has forgiven us from the ultimate sin. Jesus and early followers of Christianity use these messages to help convey an easy way to interpret the meaning of God to the masses. The Parables allow for the followers of the Christianity to make their own understanding of what Jesus Christ is presenting as salvation. In the Parable of Sower each type of seed sown is the way man accepts the truths of Jesus Christ. The seeds are a simple way to present the manner of how believers must accept the ides of everybody else. The first seed to be cast is one that fell on hardened soil and was quickly picked by birds. This represents a person who never received th word of God and quickly falls to lure of Satan “The seed sown on rocky ground is the one who hears the word and receives it at once with joy. But he has no root and lasts only for time.” This seed is to represent the believers of Jesus but when persecution arises they quickly renounce their faith. The Gospel of Luke writes, “Some seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew with it and choked it.” The gospel also recalls, “As for the seed who fell among thorns, they are the ones who have heard, but as they go along, they are choked by the anxieties and riches and pleasures of life, and they fail to produce mature fruit.” The final seed is the one who grows, matures, and produces fruit. “And some fell on good soil, and when it grew, it produced fruit a hundredfold” This is the person who accepted God.
