“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...” Recognize it? Yes, it is the First Amendment. Sometimes I think that many people do not realize it because of all the hatred and discrimination against others. We have the freedom to exercise any religion that we very well please to, but some people like to get in the way of that. Instead of just dealing with the fact that there are “other” religions and beliefs, people decide to discriminate against the others who believe in different possibilities. What good is that going to do? None! I just do not understand people these days. Judging and hating “different” people, people that believe differently; it is always going to be like that until the end of time. It would make the world go round a lot smoother if the hatred and discrimination would stop, but that is asking way too much I guess. I hear about conflicts between two opposing religions and sometimes the fall out is fatal. One is dead, the other is locked up; or both are dead, or maybe even a huge brawl is formed. Even just arguments; hateful words said that will never be able to be taken back. Those are the kinds of things that discriminating against people for believing differently can easily come down to. Why? All just from people being who they are? Someone is just being themselves, and they are hated and judged for it; stereotyped as a “bad” person?
