CHARACTER ANALYSIS OF THE ITALIAN JOB
The movie the Italian Job is quite complex in both plot and in character. The movie has many complex attributes and is very sophisticated technologically. The main character Charlie [played by Mark Walhburg] showcases a lot of strong attributes and skills and one of those is his adaptability. Charlies ability to adapt and acclimate to ever changing challenges throughout the movie is key to his character and to his survival. His ability to progress through very trying circumstances is evident when one of his own team members tries to assassinate him and the rest of the crew over a gold heist that they completed. During the attempted assassination Charlie quickly instructed the driver of the vehicle to get moving so they all wouldn’t be shot [one man was not so lucky]. The vehicle that the crew was driving in crashed through a bridge barrier and fell into an icy river. At the same time, the assasins were continually firing bullets at the now sinking vehicle while they were all under water.
