London, the city of St. Paul’s Cathedral, Victoria & Albert Museum, the British, Parliament of Houses and also the city of the two most prominent bands; Oasis and Coldplay. Though these two bands come from London and have a parallel background, they are in many ways different (or unique as others like to call them) each other. Lead by two brothers, Noel and Liam Gallagher, Oasis had been the most popular British guitar band of the mid-1990s. The combination of the blistering rock songs and subtly arranged ballads makes this band musically talented and the unique combination makes them stand out from among their peers, giving them freedom to experiment different with styles of sounds. Their format is simple; a guitar, three different chords and Liam’s sneering vocals. It is with this simplicity that they transcend normal music to an exquisite sound that touches the soul.
