Hamlet is a bad book. I wouldn't recommend you reading it. Hamlet's dad dies and he wants to avenge his death. Hamlet goes crazy thinking about when he will kill Claudius. Various things keep him from killing his step-dad. Hamlet indirectly causes Ophelia to kill herself. He calls her a prostitute. He also kills Ophelia's dad, while thinking it's Claudius. Ophelia goes crazy and walks around singing weird songs.
