Just walk down any isle of any Baby ‘R Us and you’ll find shelves full of toys, CD’s, and other items claiming to boost an infants brain power. In the article, “What It Really Takes to Make Your Baby Smarter” by Perri Klass, M.D., the author argues that as parents we do not need to buy into these gimmicks. The world is a fascinating, stimulating place both visually and intellectually for a baby; they cannot help but learn.
