What is a Christian mind? I would have to agree with pretty much everything that John Stott said in this excerpt. I liked it when he brought the two different but similar lists of 6 marks of a Christian mind together and he said, “I have personally found it yet more helpful to adopt the framework provided by Scripture as a whole. For the truly Christian mind has repented of ‘proof-texting’ … and instead saturates itself in the fullness of Scripture” (50).
