In the days of the Greeks, and magnificent battles such as the one for Troy, they worshiped their gods because that was the main focus in life. The difference from the bible and the Greek is that the Greek’s have a different relationship to their gods. They follow their god’s in every respect. It almost seems like they have a more working type relationship. In the book, there is a war taking place and the gods are taking sides. “Akhilleus, dear to Zeus, it is on me you call to tell you why the Archer God is angry.”(134 Iliad).
