Rec. Games A state of effortless concentration and enjoyment, the complete immersion in an experience this to me is all that ‘flow’ is. I don’t agree with the statement “It is the full involvement of flow, rather than happiness, that makes for excellence in life.” The many things in life, achieving ones goals, winning or losing a game, knowing someone worthwhile or someone who just makes a difference in your life, the rush of danger, all emotions and changes along with the learning experience achieved and lost, these are the things and many more that make for excellence in life. Being happy mind body and soul starts with fulfillment and the full involvement of flow brings about many emotions including happiness. I was once told that as humans we experience over 3000 emotions and many at once. Flow is just one of those many emotions that just like play some adults just don’t get enough of.
