Night and In my hands has many similarities. In these books, it is about a struggle in Poland where the Germans went against the Jewish people. The main characters go through a lot of conflicts in the country and see many problems. Throughout the book, they resolve a problem they came up with. In the book Night, Eli faces many problems in trying to survive. He tries to save his dad through many of the conflicts that comes up. He has to take care of his dad so he doesn’t take for being unable to work. The German officers took away the Jews and deported then to the ghettos they have set up. Then the Germans transferred the Jews including Elie to a concentration camp.
