In case you wondering what a vidiot is, I will tell you. A vidiot is a person who watches a lot of videos or television, a video idiot. This term most closely applies itself to America’s youth who are raised by T.V. from an early age. In this prose, I'm going to tell you what is good, and what is bad about watching a lot of videos. I'll also try to answer the question about whether our generation will end up as vidiots or not. When you hear the word vidiot, you may think that it can't be anything good about being one. What was I thinking when I came up with the word? I’ll admit that I thought only of a negative definition but there are a couple of ways it is not. If you are a Norwegian vidiot, and lets say you know little of no English. You could probably watch a lot of American films, and then you may naturally learn English. But you can learn more than languages. You can also learn facts. Let us take "Schindlers List" by an example. If a vidiot looks at this film, he or she can learn how the Jews were treated in Germany under World War 2. Another example of a video you, or any other vidiot, can learn from, is"KIDS." In this film, you'll get to know how the kids in New York are getting through their hard days in this big city.
